'Pray for healing from the effects of war.'
Sarajevo - Bosnia & Herzegovina
The Mission Adventures team will learn about some of the history of the siege as well as the devastating effects it has had on the nation and it’s people.
For this reason, the team will pray and worship in significant places, including at a mountainside fortress overlooking the whole city. During your time in Sarajevo, you’ll be hosted by our missionary partners Robert and Sandrina (from the US and Netherlands) who have been involved in planting several churches across the city over the last few decades, including the first evangelical church established in Bosnia and Herzegovina during communism. They are a lovely couple with a truly inspiring story, who love hosting teams.
Serve in practical ways to aid the longterm efforts of the missionaries here to establish relationships with the local community.
Ministries you might be involved in here include helping to run a children’s programme, host English conversation nights where you will build relationships with local youth and help them practice their English skills, lead worship and share testimonies at a local church on Sunday, and evangelism in the old city centre.
This is an ideal location for a smaller group with a team size of 8 people or less.
